Make sure you have your team sorted before getting the IFF component. Once you have it, the next time you go to the map, it will trigger the next mission. It is a great game but I wish there were more side quests.

Actually, as mentioned before, you're not forced into the Omega relay, so you can wait after that. But the IFF mission do trigger something, and you may have to rush to the omega relay for a special choice... no spoilers.

Bioware announced a new Cerberus armor and shotgun for free DLC tomorrow through the Cerberus Network.

Thanks for the heads up on the IFF mission, will do that when I am ready for end game. Did they release any screens or anything of the new DLC?

    Cerberus Assault Armor
Cerberus assault armor is designed for shock troops, turn the tide of battle against creatures or forces that would decimate normal soldiers.
Increases heavy weapon ammo capacity by +10%
    Increases shields by +10%
    Increases health by +10%

    M-22a Eviscerator Shotgun
The M-22a Eviscerator Shotgun is a longer-range shotgun with armor-piercing loads. This design also violates several intergalactic weapons treaties, so the M-22a is not distributed to militaries.

Armor looks cool but I got the feeling is going to be the same as the Dragon Age and Collector armor without the helmet toggle.

Btw, am I the only one to feel awkward to have Kanye West as a companion ?! Seriously, Jacob looks so close to Kanye, I'm pretty sure they made it on purpose.

I keep on expecting Jacob to interrupt me with something like "Hey I'm really happy for you Shepard and amma let you finish, but Saren had the best come back ever !"

I wish we could sell some of raw materials. There are upgrades I want to buy and not enough credits, but I am sitting on over 250K of a couple materials and it would be nice to get rid of it.

I'm about ten or so hours in, and was enjoying it until last night it really kicked into high gear for me. In the middle of Jacob's loyalty quest, exploring this planet with the whole messed up scenario and the dialogue involved- hell, it was barely of the intellectual level of an episode of start trek, but I'm just now getting the feel of a game- that it's not a 'cinematic' experience, but a televisual one, each little mission like a self encapsulated episode in a longer drama.
