Any poker players?

Just wondering if there are any poker players out here. And when I mean poker I mean Texas Hold`em (no-limit)

I found a few places to play here in Tokyo. There are few poker bars/cafes around town, so might check them out one day. Just wondering if anybody has played at any of them.

I used to host home games a lot back when I was in the US. We would just play $10 - $20 buy in cash games, and sometimes tournies. Nothing major, but enough to keep it interesting, and if you're lucky you might walk away with $40 - $50, and if not, you only lost about $10 - $20. Much less than a night out in town.

Once I get a little more settled here, I'd like to start up some home games with anybody who is interested. You know, give you guys a reason to leave the house. :P

I've got a nice set of chips, good 100% plastic cards, and a table cover (all still back in Texas though) but will get them sent out here eventually.

I haven't played since I was in University, but I love the social aspect of sitting around and playing a few real hands, so count me in.

Actually, my big vice is that I'm a very competitive Scrabble player. Not the "sit around with family" kind, but the "hope someday to compete in the World Championship" kind.

I have been missing Hold`em eversince i moved to Japan. will be very interested in joining for a game. it will be fun. count me in.

i LOVE texas hold'em poker! well, in the virtual world at least. i play alot on my pc (texas hold'em poker 3d deluxe) and recentely downloaded the arcade version on xbox360.
never played with friends or real humans though. i dont know anybody around me that likes or plays poker. i also enjoyed to watch the big poker tournaments on eurosport or other sports channels where the big and famous guys play for thousands of dollars.

Might check out the one near Asakusabashi one day. There is also a place in Akihabara where all the dealers are dressed as メイド。

Yeah, it might be be a few months before I can get everything set up, but it's good to know we've got people interested.

I have a group of friends that play about twice a month down here. It is a cheap game, tournament style. We have been playing together about 3 years.
